As I read into volume 7 of Kare Kano, I gain more respect for Tsuda's draftswomanship, especially in her drawing of chracters. I like her style of shadowing. I think it really gives tone to the artwork. Of course, I don't know why, but I always admire people who can draw with thin lines.

I'm in a good mood because I found a Tezuka trove in the central library- I got 2 volumes of black jack and 3 of adolf.

I can't draw. But I'd rather not be able to draw than be able to draw and subject everyone to crimes against nature like this.

I wonder why fandom wank doesn't have more comics wanks. Comics is full of wank.

I'm doing a Kare Kano reading marathon. I'm up to volume 4(I started yesterday). Also, I'm happy with the 50 volumes of Urusei Yatsura I've got on my netflix queue.

You know, Frank Miller is a dick. Ok, I was listening to talk of the nation, and he assaults my ears with his crap about how we're fighting global fascism and how Muslims have bad cultures which apparently enslave women and can't build airplanes. Dude, nobody wants to hear that sort of bigoted crap. In America, we have fringe people who 'marry' 12 year olds and people who get labiaplasties. But we get mad when people see us as bad people because of the few crazies, such as the soldier who raped and killed a 14 year old.

I hate how people smash together a billion people who live in different countries and just cherry pick the worst aspects of their culture. If we want to fight terrorism, we need to work together with the 99% of Muslims who don't like murdering people. Man, I hate people who suck.

I am interested in how this comic will continue. I find the font kind of hard to read though.

I love Happy Mania as well. It's much easier for me to see something profound in a manga with chracters riddled with flaws. I love fruits basket and all that, but I can't really connect "angelic madonna figure comes in and makes everyone's dark past all right" with my life. But Fuku's good line "that's called fucking" I can use my entire life. Often I do find myself thinking I should be doing something else, even though when I think about it, goofing off isn't really such a bad thing.
