Today's bitch is as follows. For god's sakes,folks, when discussing fanfiction, let's get down and dirty into fanfiction as it actually is, not how we'd like it to be. Always assuming that all writers have well thought out plots and are always the best examples of fandom really obscures how fandom truly is. To truly discuss fandom and fanfiction intelligently, we need to acknowledge the sues, the high school AUs which are just putting character's names into a script that has nothing to do, the crossovers that make a mess out of the rules of both canons, and the bad porn, oh the bad porn, instead of sweeping those under the rug.
