I'm inclined to agree with you. The stories were better too. I haven't seen an anime I cared for in a while.I wonder if modern anime fans have any idea what some of the shows I enjoy even are.
I'm OK with modern anime, but I find that young folks totally don't remember the classics. I bet if you say Maison Ikkoku or Ranma, they say huh and that is a SHAME.
