I thought and asked, and a person who I asked had a really good question. Did they actually ask any Muslims how they felt about this, or did they just jump to conclusions without considering context or anything? And of course, Muslims are being blamed for this, in the typical manner.

Ah, in volume 2, chapter 7, we see the founding of the Happy Berry brand. Mikako's clothes are much more amazing in Parakiss though.

Mikako's love story seems a whole lot lighter and sweeter than Miwako's. Parakiss was a bit on the dark side, which I loved, but I like the fluffy feel of neighborhood story too. It's summer, so light manga feels the best. I still can' finish Model- a bit too brooding for me.

Neighborhood Story[I can't spell the actual name] is so good. They should liscence[can't spell english either] it and sell it as a companion piece to Parakiss. Of course, that's a really obvious statement.

I read Skip Beat volume 4, and it seems to be more of a set up volume. The Ren/Kyoko relationship is being set up, but that's not as fun as the whole Sho revenge plot. I'd also like more Moko.

I'm up to Model volume 7, and just can't finish it. The whole love triangle thing didn't do that for me, although I did like some of the cooler revelations into the pasts(and possible futures) of some of the characters. Although the mangaka's style is odd, I like it- despite the thick necks, her figures can look pretty graceful. Ah, vampires...they are all about sex without being about sex.
