Crunchy Mama comics with blog attached. I don't agree with being a crunchy mama, but I do like to collect examples of women's comics. Hey, I got Castle Waiting and Love and Rockets: Maggie the Mechanic for Christmas!

Ok, I finally got to Fruits Basket 18, and I was thinking why March 2008 for Fruits Basket 19? That's forever away. In 18, I wanted more about Shigure and Akito. Also, more naked Akito pics please!

*comics love* I'm reading Heartbreak Soup now- I've never read Chelo's Burden before so the story of how Luba came to town and what happened with Pipo, Soledad and Manuel are fairly new to me- I've only seen these events in flashback. Eee, and when I finish it, I've got Fruits Basket 17 and 18 in store. I'm excited to be reading comics again.
I read Kare Kano vol 20 and I have to admit my favorite part are the parallel stories of the Arimas' 'generational curse' vs the Miyazawas' generational blessing[with dad's grandpa loving him, and the dad working hard to show his love to his daughters]. I love shoujo. *heart*

Today I bought Fool's Gold volume 2. I admit to reading the story, and then flipping back through to see the outfits again. It's nice to see americans turning out amusing teen comedy as we need a middle ground between heartshattering works of genius and dudes in tights. Also, I regret not buying volume 17 of Fruits Basket. Why do I count on Fruits Basket being there when I know from prior experience the bookstore nearest my house always has up to volume 16, but no further?

I wonder if I'm the only one saying December 11th? I'll be there will bells on! I am excited for holiday break. Having free time for hobbies makes me squee. Maybe I should try to make a comic.

Ah, after finally getting to Nana #7, I note that lovey dovey Nana Hachi is the best.
