Finals are done, so I'm reading Sugar Sugar Rune. Vanilla is shaping up to be a much more interesting character now than she was in the first volume. I also love how they are elaborating on the fissures in the magical world. I love this sort of story- it's a kid's story, but anyone can enjoy it.

Nana vol 10 is so good. Nothing better than a good story about the tragedy of growing up and facing reality!

I'm excited to learn that they are up to volume 14 of Swan. I still need to catch up on Boys Over Flowers- I'm on volume 13, and the latest volumes I see in the store are vols 26 or 27. Also, I'm excited to get most of Sugar Sugar Rune soon, and I note that Nana vol 10 is coming to my door soon.

You know I won't like a manga when I see two panty shots before I'm ten pages in. Give me actual sex or give me cute, but don't go with this whole oooo, panties, stuff. I'm more of a shoujo fan anyway, I guess.

well, I may start downloading fansubs again. A sugar sugar rune anime? yay.

Today I bought High School Debut 2 and Sugar Sugar Rune vol 1. Well, Sugar Sugar is going to be my new obsession it seems. "Be nice to me or I'll whup your butt!" A few days ago, I got Amelia Rules[Funny Stories] for $5[with another book] at a book fair. I think they need to have more comic books at random book fairs.

Also, I have spoiler full thoughts on Tramps like Us vol 14. I thought it was like the end of Maison Ikkoku. The male rival is married off to another woman, the younger man's girlfriend gets another love, and there's a baby at the end. Influence, or just a very common template? A good romantic ending is a wedding and a baby after all.

You know it's sad when you put off reading your new manga so that you can have the yay, new manga feeling last longer. It's a bonanza for me- Ouran 6, Skip Beat 11, Tramps Like Us 13... I'm pretty excited. I'll be happy that I bought these now when there's a long stretch when I am broke and can't get any new manga.
