I got Nana 12 today, in an odd manner. UPS? And without the ever trusty amazon box? Well, it's new manga, even if it's not in the amazon box of super reusability.

I love this comic. I think the web is the best thing that happened to comics since four color printing. Now people who can create the occasional comic, such as office workers, mothers, etc, can post to the web, and we can all enjoy them, thus inspiring more people to read and make comics. Yay!

Why do you get Kureno and Shigure requests, dear ficcer? Because they have a great dynamic! the younger man, who admires his cousin, and the admired older man who wishes his cousin would get out of his way. Of course, Shigure and Akito are classic, not only because of the canon nature of the pairing[there's always a certain percentage that do canon ships], but also because of the fucked up nature of their relationship. I think there can be some very good fics with these two- especially after canon.

My theory is that the two of them will probably not be relieved of their personality traits, even after the end of the series. Shigure will probably still be ruthless and Akito will probably still be controlling. There's fireworks here! It's not so much cotton candy, like Tohru/Yuki, but one of those desserts that is on fire.

Ugh, yet another release I totally need!

In Barnes and Noble, I saw a lot of large thick volumes of Zot. Man, there are so many huge volumes of comics I need- especially Bone! But even with 15% off, I need to be careful with my cash. I got a $5 volume of Magic Knights Rayearth[the whole first series] for my mother's classroom- no nudity, no swears, so the kids[8th graders] can enjoy.

Kawaii Not has a book? Yay! I have so many comics I need.
